ABOUT ME
My story

The challenges I faced

There was a time when I felt completely lost, disconnected from myself, from others, from life itself; I lacked a sense of purpose or direction. I struggled with my mental health and relationships not knowing how to have my emotional needs met. I felt misunderstood and isolated.

It was through these struggles that I began searching for something deeper - a way to reconnect with myself, understand my past, and find clarity in who I was.

My turning points

Therapy was a transformative experience for me - it gave me the language, tools, and understanding to make sense of my experiences and the way I interacted with the world.

I then decided to leave my home country to find myself. I encountered many challenges and went through all sorts of experiences both difficult and fulfilling. In being away from everything familiar I began to hear my own voice. The experience helped me to rely on my own intuition, understand what I needed, and I started to connect with my true self.

How this led me to become a Therapist

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, worked as a key worker in the homelessness sector, as it aligned to my values and allowed me to make a positive impact in the community. Yet, I felt that I wanted to facilitate deeper change within people and their lives.

I figured I was not the only one that had experienced these challenges and continuously search for my authenticity. Then, it dawned on me; I could support others in similar journeys…

This is how I chose to become a Relational Psychotherapist. Training as a therapist was a journey of personal development and deeper self-awareness. It helped me develop the skills to guide others towards their authenticity.

My journey to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight path; it was shaped by a desire for deeper understanding and connection to live from a place that felt true to myself.
